Satechi’s CES 2025 Reveal: The Future of Charging is Here

Satechi OntheGo Qi2 Power Bank

Leading the lineup is the OntheGo Power Bank from Satechi. It comes in two versions with different battery capacities. The smaller, budget-friendly model has a 5,000mAh battery, while the larger 10,000mAh option includes upgraded MagSafe features. Both versions feature a built-in kickstand, letting the charger double as a phone stand. I use a similar power bank, and the stand is super useful for watching Rangers hockey games on my phone. It props up my device and keeps the battery charged while I stream.

These power banks stand out with Qi2 technology, delivering 15W wireless charging for faster iPhone refueling compared to standard wireless chargers.

Satechi uses premium materials, featuring an aluminum frame, vegan leather accents, and soft-touch silicone to protect your phone. They’ll be available this spring, starting at $70.

Satechi OntheGo Qi2 Wireless Chargers

Satechi is using CES 2025 to showcase its smallest wireless charger yet. Compact foldable MagSafe-compatible chargers are trending, with many brands drawing inspiration from Twelve South’s ButterFly design. After Anker’s UFO charger, Satechi is introducing its own version, the OntheGo Qi2 Wireless Chargers.

The OnetheGo series comes in two models: a 3-in-1 and a smaller 2-in-1 version, both designed for travel. Made from vegan leather, these chargers are tailored for iPhone users with a magnetic design for easy alignment.

The main charging area offers a 15W output for Apple’s latest phones. On the side, there’s a fold-out Apple Watch charger that works flat or in Nightstand Mode. The 3-in-1 version also includes a spot for AirPods or other wireless earbuds.

Prices start at $70 for the 2-in-1 model and $100 for the 3-in-1 version.

Satechi Mac Mini M4 Stand & Hub

Satechi’s big reveal at CES 2025 might just be my favorite launch this year. I know it’s early, but stay with me. For years, Satechi has nailed the best Mac Mini accessory. Their Stand & Hub, in all its versions, has been a key part of my desk setup for five years.

The aluminum accessory began as an easier way to reach the USB ports on the back of Apple’s compact computer. Over time, it added an M.2 SSD slot for extra storage. Now, Satechi has updated the design to fit Apple’s new Mac Mini.

Satechi aims to enhance the desktop experience further. While pricing isn’t announced yet, the current model costs $100, so the new version will likely be similar.

When can you buy the new Satechi gear?

As usual with CES announcements, Satechi’s new products won’t ship until spring. Exact dates aren’t confirmed, but the brand is usually reliable with meeting its timelines.

For now, you can check out some of my favorite Satechi chargers and accessories available now.
