Puff Pastry Caramel Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 24 squares.
  3. Place a small spoonful of caramel sauce in the center of each square.
  4. If desired, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  5. Fold each square in half diagonally to form triangles.
  6. Place the triangles on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, use a high-quality caramel sauce.
  • You can use any type of nuts you like, or omit them altogether.
  • These bites are best served warm.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
