Samsung Galaxy S25+: This model introduces subtle yet significant changes in its dimensions, along with a lighter and more manageable build. With a price tag of $1,000, it operates on Android 15 and One UI 7, offering users improved speed and heightened security features.

Samsung Galaxy S25: Building on the legacy of the S Series, the S25 introduces a sleeker and more refined design, along with a lighter build for improved usability. This model sees a significant upgrade in RAM, moving from 8GB in the previous S24 model to an impressive 12GB. This brings it in line with other high-performance models within the series. The device is powered by the advanced Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite 8 for Galaxy, which ensures faster and more efficient processing capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge, a new phone that is thinner, lighter, and just as powerful as other S25 models. Specific details are not yet available.

One UI 7: Samsung’s software now boasts improved security measures, including the advanced Knox Vault system. This version also unveils the Personal Data Engine, which enriches user experience by managing personal information more effectively. Additionally, it presents the innovative Now Bar and Now Brief features. These utilize artificial intelligence to deliver concise, insightful summaries that optimize your workflow. They provide swift, customized insights specifically aligned with your individual interests and preferences.

Samsung’s newest flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, presents a more refined design compared to its predecessor. While the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra featured a boxy style, this new model introduces a curved design, maintaining the same dimensions of 77.6 x 162.8 x 8.2mm but reducing the weight by 15 grams for enhanced portability. The titanium construction showcases slimmer bezels and a slightly larger 6.9-inch display, equipped with a QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen and a rapid 120Hz refresh rate.

The camera now features a new 50MP ultrawide lens, up from 12MP, for better detail and image quality. It includes the ProVisual Engine with ProScaler from Samsung TVs for top-notch video quality on a Samsung device. Audio has been enhanced with Audio Eraser software for noise reduction and fine-tuning. The 50MP telephoto and wide lenses, 3x/5x optical zoom, and 100x Space Zoom are still available. Video modes remain at 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps. The battery stays at 5,000mAh but now supports Qi2 charging, requiring a compatible case. The S Pen is now a passive stylus without a battery, and the device still has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Galaxy Doubles Down on AI

The S25 Ultra’s AI, powered by the Personal Data Engine, creates a seamless experience across Samsung smart home devices and wearables. By connecting to compatible devices (Samsung or Bixby), it learns user habits and provides personalized suggestions, like automatically adjusting a smart thermostat to a preferred sleeping temperature. This cross-device AI integration is the most significant new feature and is available across the entire S25 series. The phone is available for pre-order in four standard colors (Titan Black, Gray, Silverblue, Whitesilver), with three exclusive online colors (Titanium Pinkgold, Jetblack, Jadegreen). Prices start at $1,300 for the 256GB model, with 512GB and 1TB options also available. Shipping begins February 7.
